Recent ensemble forecasts from regional models indicate persistent northeasterly flow and variable cloud cover over northern Taiwan, limiting peak solar heating and keeping the September 17 daily maximum in Taipei clustered around 30–32°C. This narrow spread explains the tight market distribution, with 32°C edging ahead at 30.5% implied probability due to occasional model runs showing brief clearing. Historical mid-September averages near 30–31°C provide context, yet current conditions feature higher humidity and scattered drizzle potential that cap extremes. Traders are weighting the latest Central Weather Bureau guidance and upcoming model cycles, which will refine resolution criteria based on official observatory readings.
