Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a high of 21–24°C for Cape Town on September 19 under clear skies and light southerly winds, aligning with the closely bunched market probabilities favoring 23–25°C. Stable high-pressure conditions and the moderating influence of the Benguela Current are expected to limit daytime warming despite abundant September sunshine, with afternoon maxima at Cape Town International Airport projected near 23°C per recent runs. Minor model spreads arise from subtle differences in wind timing and boundary-layer mixing, typical for spring when sea breezes can cap temperatures. Historical September averages near 19–21°C provide context, but recent warmer anomalies this month support trader emphasis on the upper end of the narrow range ahead of final observations.
