Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver point to scattered thunderstorms on September 19, with overnight lows projected near 51–54°F amid moderating cloud cover and light winds. These conditions support the market's tight clustering around 52–57°F bins by limiting clear-sky radiative cooling that could push minima lower. Model consensus on storm timing and moisture from the south favors this range over cooler historical averages near 48°F, while minor variations in precipitation coverage or wind shifts create the observed spread across adjacent outcomes. Updated guidance through September 18 will refine resolution probabilities ahead of the overnight period.
