Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Seattle on September 19 points to a high near 69–71°F under partly to mostly sunny skies, with light northwesterly flow limiting marine-layer intrusion. This aligns with the market’s tight clustering around 66–71°F bins, where traders weigh subtle differences in afternoon cloud cover and downslope warming from the Cascades against climatological norms of 69.5°F for the date. Ensemble spreads remain modest given stable high pressure, though any earlier or thicker stratus could cap readings in the mid-60s while clearer conditions favor the upper 60s to low 70s. Updated model runs and local observations on the 18th will refine these thresholds ahead of resolution.
