Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs indicate mostly sunny afternoon conditions for Seattle on September 21 after morning stratus and patchy fog, supporting highs near 65–70°F amid light northerly winds and moderate onshore flow. This pattern aligns with late-September climatology, where average highs reach about 69°F under similar marine-influenced regimes. Trader emphasis on the 66–67°F and 68–69°F bins reflects tight model clustering around these values, with differentiation driven by subtle variations in cloud-clearing timing, boundary-layer mixing, and exact solar insolation. Updated short-range forecasts from NOAA will likely refine resolution criteria before market close.
