The official National Weather Service climatological summary for downtown Los Angeles recorded a minimum temperature of 68°F on September 15, 2026, at 3:20 a.m. local time, aligning precisely with the market's dominant 68-69°F outcome at 97.5% implied probability. This value exceeded the 1991-2020 normal low of 64°F amid a stable marine layer and light southerly flow that limited overnight radiational cooling, consistent with preliminary hourly observations from Los Angeles International Airport showing similar mid-60s readings. Trader consensus reflects the verified observational data rather than forecasts, with minimal uncertainty once the daily report was issued. Revisions to the official station reading or resolution criteria specifying a different measurement site remain the primary scenarios that could alter positioning before final settlement.
