Recent model consensus from sources including GFS data and national forecasters indicates a maximum temperature of 18–19°C in Amsterdam on September 18, driven by moderate westerly to southwesterly flow advecting mild maritime air under mostly to partly cloudy skies with low precipitation chances. This setup limits diurnal heating compared to clearer conditions while preventing significant cooling, aligning closely with the late-September climatological average high near 18.9°C. Trader positioning favoring 19°C slightly over 18°C reflects minor forecast spread in afternoon peaks, with minimal probability assigned to outliers due to stable guidance and no major model shifts in the past 24–48 hours. Final official observations from KNMI or equivalent will resolve the market.
