Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a high around 69–71°F for Seattle on September 19, driven by partly cloudy skies that will moderate daytime solar heating. Light northwest winds and residual marine influence from the Pacific are expected to limit peak warming, while clear periods could allow brief temperature spikes. This aligns with mid-September climatology near Sea-Tac, where average highs hover around 70°F but cloud cover often caps extremes. Traders appear focused on the balance between model runs showing variable afternoon clearing versus persistent stratus, with NWS updates and hourly observations likely to refine resolution near the 68–71°F thresholds.
