Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a high near 18–19°C in Buenos Aires on September 3, 2026, aligning with market-implied probabilities favoring those outcomes. A cold front advancing from the southwest has introduced cooler maritime air, persistent cloud cover, and light rain or showers early in the day, which limit daytime solar heating and keep maximum temperatures moderate. Westerly winds of 10–15 mph further mix the boundary layer and suppress warming. This setup follows a warmer September 2 and matches climatological September averages near 19°C, though model consensus points to slightly below-normal values due to the frontal passage. Updated National Weather Service or local Servicio Meteorológico Nacional guidance on afternoon clearing could refine the exact peak before resolution.
