Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service forecasts and model ensembles from NOAA's GFS and ECMWF project Denver's April 5 high temperature clustering in the mid-60s Fahrenheit, with trader-implied odds tightly split between 64-65°F (26%) and 66-67°F (26%) reflecting uncertainty in peak afternoon heating under a transitional upper-level pattern. Following March 2026's record warmth—the hottest on record—a weak trough has introduced cooler air and scattered showers early this week, tempering highs to the 50s, but a rebuilding ridge aloft promises above-normal temperatures near the 1991-2020 April 5 average of 60°F. Key differentiators include timing of shortwave disturbances affecting cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing, which could shave 2-3°F off clearer-sky scenarios pushing toward 68-69°F. New 12z model runs and NWS updates expected today may refine this consensus.
