Incumbent Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs holds a modest edge in trader pricing for the Maricopa County winner in the November 2026 Arizona gubernatorial election, reflecting recent statewide polling averages that show her ahead of Republican nominee Andy Biggs by roughly 6–11 points. Hobbs benefits from incumbency advantages, her July selection of former Mesa Mayor John Giles as running mate to bolster suburban appeal in the populous Phoenix metro area, and Democratic performance among independents in battleground counties. Biggs, who secured the GOP nomination with strong primary support and Trump backing, draws from conservative turnout in Maricopa but faces headwinds from the state's recent voting patterns and the general election's compressed timeline. The race remains fluid, with voter turnout, economic messaging, and any late shifts among independents likely to determine the final county margin.

In the event that any named candidate is replaced as the nominee of their respective party prior to election day, the name in the contract will be updated and the market will resolve based on the replacement nominee of the party.
If the results of the election in the specified county are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Arizona, including the Office of the Secretary of State and the government of Maricopa County.
