Current forecasts for Black Rock Desert during Burning Man (August 30–September 7) show daytime highs mostly in the mid-to-upper 80s°F, with some model runs reaching the low 90s amid variable high-pressure patterns and possible monsoon moisture. Recent National Weather Service and ensemble guidance indicate a cooling trend early in the event, with isolated showers and stronger southwest winds potentially suppressing peak readings, while clearer conditions later could allow brief warming. This tight clustering of market-implied odds around the 89–92°F bins reflects genuine uncertainty in short-term model consensus and steering patterns typical for the region, where historical maxima during the period often range from the mid-80s to low 100s depending on ridge strength. Updated NWS briefings and new model runs over the next 48 hours will likely refine the outlook.
