Forecast models from sources including METMalaysia and international providers indicate peak temperatures in Kuala Lumpur on September 17 will most likely reach 32–34°C amid typical late-September equatorial conditions, with light winds, high humidity, and scattered afternoon thunderstorms or haze that limit extreme heating. Official outlooks project a maximum near 34°C under partly cloudy skies, while convective activity and cloud cover favor slightly lower peaks around 32–33°C in many runs. Historical September averages hover near 32°C, and current inter-monsoon patterns with elevated moisture support this narrow range over outliers below 31°C or above 35°C. Traders appear to weight these consensus forecasts heavily, with implied probabilities aligning closely to model agreement on modest diurnal maxima.
