Recent forecasts from agencies including Taiwan's Central Weather Administration and global models indicate a likely peak near 32–34°C for Taipei on September 25, with partly cloudy skies, light easterly winds, and a modest chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms that could limit further warming. This supports the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 33–35°C, where small differences in model consensus on cloud cover, dew points near 24°C, and convective timing create genuine uncertainty in the exact daily maximum. Historical late-September baselines hover near 31–32°C, but current high-pressure patterns and humidity levels favor the upper end of that range unless stronger instability develops. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will likely refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
