**Forecast uncertainty in short-term numerical weather models is the main driver behind the near-even split between 15°C-or-below and 25°C-or-higher outcomes for Busan’s minimum temperature on September 25.** Global and regional models (including GFS and ECMWF runs) currently indicate an overcast to mostly cloudy regime with northeast winds of 5–11 mph and a chance of light rain or showers, which would limit nighttime radiative cooling and support overnight lows near 21–22°C. However, modest shifts in cloud timing, precipitation coverage, or a slightly stronger high-pressure influence could allow clearer intervals and greater cooling toward the mid-teens, while persistent marine influence or delayed frontal passage could keep readings higher. Late-September climatology shows typical daily minima around 17–19°C, but the current warmer pattern and model spread create genuine divergence on whether the day’s low falls into the cooler tail or stays elevated, keeping the two headline bins nearly tied at roughly 50% and 49% implied probability.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rkpk
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
