Latest forecasts from the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau and global models show a minimum temperature near 24°C on September 18, supported by northeasterly winds, persistent cloud cover, and light rain that limits overnight radiative cooling. This positions the 24°C outcome as the market leader at 40% implied probability. Historical September minima in Shanghai average 21–24°C, with recent days holding lows around 23°C amid similar patterns. Model consensus remains tight on the daily range of 24–30°C, though slight variations in rain timing or wind strength could shift the exact low by 1°C. Updated guidance ahead of the date will refine trader positioning on nearby thresholds like 23°C or 25°C.
