Recent National Weather Service and private forecasts indicate mostly sunny skies with a 30-40% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms for Miami on September 26, supported by northerly to northeasterly winds of 10-15 mph that limit extreme heating while allowing daytime warming. Model consensus points to highs in the upper 80s, consistent with late-September climatology near 86-88°F and current sea-surface temperatures that sustain typical humidity-driven instability without major steering influences from tropical systems. This setup positions 88-89°F as the strongest market-implied outcome at 50%, with lower ranges reflecting downside risks from increased cloud cover or earlier convection, and higher bins tied to any unexpected suppression of storms. Updated NWS briefings and next model runs will provide the primary near-term catalysts for shifts in trader sentiment.
