Current National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the mid-70s for Dallas on September 26, reflecting typical late-summer radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies with light southeast winds and dew points near 65°F. The near-even split between 65°F-or-below and 84°F-or-higher outcomes in the market highlights uncertainty around variables that control minimum temperatures: increased cloud cover or higher boundary-layer moisture could limit nocturnal heat loss and push the low above 80°F, while clearer skies, drier air, or a subtle frontal passage would enhance cooling and allow temperatures to drop into the mid-60s. Ensemble spreads remain modest this close to the date, but small shifts in forecast humidity or wind speed can alter the realized minimum by several degrees.
