Current forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and ECMWF models indicate the lowest temperature in Helsinki today will reach 3°C, driven by a stable high-pressure system and clear overnight conditions that promote radiative cooling under light winds. This aligns with climatological norms for mid-September in southern Finland, where minimums typically range 4–8°C. The overwhelming 99.4% market-implied probability reflects verified model consensus and recent observational trends showing no warmer air advection. A realistic challenge would require an unexpected warm front or measurement revision at the Helsinki-Vantaa station, though such shifts appear improbable given the short remaining observation window.
