Persistent southerly flow and high pressure across North Texas are sustaining above-average warmth, with National Weather Service and private forecast models converging on a Friday high of 97–100 °F under mostly sunny skies and light winds. These conditions support strong daytime insolation and minimal mixing, keeping surface temperatures elevated well above the 1991–2020 climatological normal of 89 °F. Recent model runs show little day-to-day variability, narrowing the most likely range to the upper 90s and driving the 56 % market-implied probability on 98–99 °F alongside the 32.5 % on 96–97 °F. A modest risk of slight cooling from increased boundary-layer moisture or minor cloud debris accounts for the smaller probabilities assigned to 100–101 °F and lower bins.
