Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate overnight lows in Dallas on September 23 around 74–76°F under partly cloudy skies with light easterly winds, limiting radiational cooling. This stems from a persistent warm, moist air mass with dew points near 65–70°F and minimal frontal influence, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 67.6°F. While short-range models show low spread, minor shifts in cloud cover or wind could alter the minimum by 2–4°F. Market-implied odds reflect trader uncertainty around these thresholds, with the wisdom of crowds assigning roughly even weight to the cooler tail versus an unusually warm night. Updated NWS guidance and 00Z/12Z model runs over the next 48 hours will provide the key resolution signals.
