Recent forecast model consensus from sources including GFS data positions a maximum of 27°C as the most probable outcome for Tokyo on September 13, driven by mostly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and stable high-pressure conditions limiting daytime heating. This aligns with September climatological averages near 27°C and current observations showing no strong warm advection or clearing that would push temperatures higher. Market-implied probabilities favor 27°C (43%) and 26°C (25.5%), reflecting trader assessment of model guidance showing afternoon peaks around 27–28°C with low precipitation risk. Updated runs from the Japan Meteorological Agency and additional observational data later today will refine these estimates ahead of market resolution.
