National Weather Service forecasts from the Peachtree City office project a high near 92°F for Atlanta on September 21 under mostly sunny skies, light northeast winds, and only a slight afternoon thunderstorm chance. Recent model runs and point forecasts cluster daily maxima in the low to mid-90s, supporting the market's leading 92-93°F bin at 49.5% implied probability and the 90-91°F range at 32%. These conditions sit well above the long-term September 21 average high of roughly 82°F, with limited cooling expected before the date. Forecasters note that earlier or stronger convection could trim the peak, introducing modest uncertainty into the final observed maximum.
