Recent National Weather Service forecasts highlight a returning marine layer with morning low clouds and fog along the Los Angeles coast, moderating peak heating and supporting trader consensus around 80–83°F for the August 30 high. Onshore southwest flow and subsidence aloft limit daytime warming compared to recent 90°F+ readings, while afternoon clearing and light winds determine whether maxima reach the upper or lower end of that range. Slight odds favoring 80–81°F reflect model runs showing persistent stratus delaying full insolation, whereas 82–83°F pricing accounts for faster dissipation or minor inland warming. Official resolution will hinge on the precise maximum at primary stations, with final model updates and observations over the next 24 hours likely refining these narrow probabilities.
