Incumbent Republican Claudia Tenney faces Democratic nominee Alissa Ellman in the November 3, 2026 general election for New York’s 24th congressional district. The seat carries a Solid Republican rating from the Cook Political Report, reflecting consistent voter patterns that have favored GOP candidates in recent cycles. Tenney advanced automatically after her June 23 primary was canceled, while Ellman secured the Democratic nomination with a clear majority. No recent polls, endorsements, or campaign developments have shifted expectations, leaving the matchup noncompetitive by historical benchmarks for this district. Trader consensus in the market prices reflects this entrenched partisan lean and the structural advantages of incumbency.
