Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors a highest temperature of 12°C (37.5% implied probability) at Istanbul Airport on April 4, driven by the latest forecasts from the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) and global models like ECMWF and GFS, which project daytime highs near 12-13°C under persistent cloud cover and scattered showers. A cool northerly airflow, steered by an upper-level trough over the eastern Mediterranean, limits solar heating and suppresses temperatures below early-April climatological averages of 13-14°C. Recent observations on April 3 recorded morning lows around 10°C with partly cloudy conditions, reinforcing model agreement on subdued warming. Overnight forecast updates from NOAA-monitored stations could refine probabilities before market resolution.
