Republican incumbent Nick Begich III holds a strong position in Alaska’s at-large House race ahead of the August 18 top-four primary and November general election under ranked-choice voting. Begich unseated Democrat Mary Peltola in 2024 and now faces a fragmented field that includes Democrat Matt Schultz and several independents, with no high-profile Democratic challenger after Peltola shifted to the Senate contest. Recent Alaska Survey Research polling from April and May showed Begich leading Schultz by 17–18 points among likely voters. The state’s partisan lean, Begich’s substantial fundraising edge, and historical Republican performance in federal races have shaped trader consensus around an 83.5% Republican outcome. Scheduled primary results and any late shifts in voter rankings remain key variables.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
