Nevada voters must approve Question 6 a second time on November 3, 2026, for the initiated constitutional amendment to take effect under state rules requiring successive ballot wins. The measure, which passed with roughly 64 percent support in 2024, would enshrine a right to abortion before fetal viability or to protect the patient's life or health, building on existing statutory protections upheld since the 1990s. Trader consensus for passage at 88.1 percent reflects this prior margin, the absence of major new polling shifts or organized opposition surges in recent months, and the measure's alignment with current state practice allowing procedures up to 24 weeks. Ongoing litigation over parental notification rules and gubernatorial veto patterns on related bills have not altered the underlying voter backing evident from the first round.
