The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Buckley Space Force Base Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/co/aurora/KBKF. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from the National Weather Service Automated Surface Observing System at Denver International Airport (KDEN) confirm the highest temperature on April 18 reached 56-57°F, driving trader consensus to 100% implied probability for that outcome. This aligns with post-frontal cool air advection following overnight freeze warnings, where clear skies and light winds enabled modest diurnal heating under a stable boundary layer, but persistent cold mid-level temperatures suppressed peaks well below the mid-April normal of 62°F. NOAA model guidance from April 17 accurately forecasted these subdued highs amid high-pressure ridging. Realistic challenges are minimal—only a rare post-validation data revision from sensor anomalies could alter resolution, as final climate summaries finalize such records.
