Latest meteorological forecasts for Jeddah project a daily maximum near 38°C on September 18, driven by persistent subtropical high pressure, clear skies, and strong diurnal heating over the Red Sea coastal plain. Midday observations from local stations show temperatures climbing steadily toward this range under low humidity and light westerly winds, consistent with September climatology of 35–36°C average highs. Model consensus supports limited deviation, though final official readings could shift slightly if late-day cloud cover increases or wind patterns strengthen unexpectedly. Trader positioning at 98% implied probability for exactly 38°C reflects this tight forecast window and the binary nature of daily maximum resolution.
