Current forecast models project a high of 94–97°F for Atlanta on September 2 under mostly sunny skies with light winds, driven by persistent high pressure and warm air advection. This aligns with the market's leading outcomes at 96–97°F (43.5%) and 98–99°F (29%), as traders weigh model consensus around mid-to-upper 90s against the historical average high of 86.5°F and the 97°F record. Recent late-August observations of mid-90s readings have reinforced expectations of above-normal warmth without significant cooling signals. Minor model variations in cloud cover or timing could shift the exact peak, but resolution hinges on official National Weather Service measurements at the primary station.
