Recent forecasts from Malaysia's Meteorological Department indicate a maximum of 34°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 26 amid isolated afternoon thunderstorms, consistent with the broader September climatology of daytime highs near 31–33°C. High humidity and typical convective activity during the inter-monsoon period often cap peak temperatures through cloud cover and rainfall, while clearer intervals could allow brief spikes toward 35–36°C. Short-term model runs show limited variability in steering patterns or moisture, keeping the distribution centered on 30–34°C with low probability for extremes below 29°C or above 37°C. Updated official guidance on storm timing will be the key near-term input for traders.
