Recent forecasts from PAGASA and international models indicate partly cloudy skies over Manila on September 21 amid a weak southwest monsoon, with isolated thunderstorms expected to develop during peak heating hours. These conditions typically moderate maximum temperatures by increasing cloud cover and humidity while limiting solar insolation, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 32–33°C. Historical September climatology shows average daily highs near 32°C, and current model consensus points to similar values absent stronger monsoon surges or clearer skies that could push readings higher. Traders are weighting the 32–33°C range most heavily due to this balance between seasonal norms and the timing uncertainty of convective activity, which can suppress or briefly elevate afternoon peaks depending on storm onset. Updated PAGASA guidance and model runs tomorrow morning will provide the final inputs for resolution.
