**Recent official forecasts for Panama City, Panama, position 30–32°C as the most likely range for the September 25 maximum, aligning with market-implied odds favoring 31°C.** September climatology shows average highs near 31°C amid the rainy season, with daily maxima typically spanning 29–33°C depending on cloud cover and showers. A strengthening El Niño event, with Niño-3.4 anomalies exceeding +2.5°C, is contributing to reduced rainfall and clearer periods that support above-average warmth across the Pacific slope. National Meteorological and Hydrological Institute outlooks indicate maxima of 29–34°C region-wide, with model consensus pointing to limited intensification potential and low odds of 33°C+ or sub-29°C readings. Traders appear to weigh this stable tropical pattern and recent model guidance heavily, with the 31°C outcome capturing the central tendency of expected conditions.
