**Trader consensus heavily favors 33°C as Singapore’s highest temperature on September 2, driven by model consensus and official guidance projecting a peak near that threshold under mostly fair, low-rainfall conditions.** Singapore’s equatorial location and southeast monsoon flow typically sustain daytime maxima around 31–32 °C; reduced cloud cover and scattered-thunderstorm chances (≈25 %) on September 2 allow greater solar heating and push readings into the low-to-mid 30s. The Meteorological Service Singapore’s early-September outlook explicitly cites 33–35 °C maxima on most days, aligning with ensemble guidance showing afternoon peaks of 32–33 °C and overnight lows near 27–28 °C. Low precipitation probability and light south-easterly winds further support the implied probability distribution, with 34 °C remaining a modest tail risk if clearer skies develop.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
