Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance point to clear to partly cloudy skies and light winds overnight into September 18, favoring radiative cooling within a mild air mass and producing minimum temperatures in the low to mid-50s across the Seattle area. This aligns closely with mid-September climatological averages near 52–53 °F at Sea-Tac, where high pressure has maintained dry conditions after earlier warmth. The resulting market-implied odds heavily favor the 54–55 °F bin at 56 %, with 52–53 °F as the next most probable outcome, reflecting trader assessment of limited downside risk absent stronger onshore flow or cloud cover that could moderate the overnight low. Updated model runs and the evening NWS briefing remain the key near-term catalysts.
