Current ensemble forecasts from NOAA and other agencies indicate overnight lows in Seattle on September 2 near 55–56°F under a strengthening southerly flow ahead of an approaching frontal system, with increasing clouds and light rain expected after midnight. These conditions typically limit radiational cooling while moderating temperatures near the marine layer, keeping values within the historical September average of about 55°F. Market-implied odds cluster tightly around 56–59°F because recent model runs show only modest spread in minimum temperatures, driven by uncertainties in exact timing of precipitation onset and wind gusts up to 20 mph. Historical analogs and current observational trends support this narrow range, though any earlier clearing could allow slightly lower readings.
