This tight spread reflects model uncertainty in cloud cover thickness—thinner clouds boosting solar insolation for higher peaks, denser ones capping daytime heating—along with subtle differences in southerly airflow advection versus potential sea breeze cooling from the East China Sea. Early April climatology averages 18–20°C highs, but recent warm spells (e.g., 24°C on April 2) support the mild outlook; new 00Z/12Z runs from global models and China Meteorological Administration updates expected overnight could sharpen resolution ahead of the event.
