Recent ensemble forecasts from models including ECMWF, ICON, and GFS indicate a mostly cloudy regime over Munich on September 11, with afternoon highs likely ranging 17–20 °C as weak northwesterly flow limits daytime warming. Historical climatology places the long-term average high near 20 °C, yet current guidance shows modest negative anomalies from persistent cloud cover and light precipitation chances earlier in the period. Model spread arises primarily from differences in predicted boundary-layer mixing and exact timing of any partial clearing, producing the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 18–20 °C. Updated high-resolution runs and surface observations over the next 48 hours will refine the precise maximum before resolution.
