This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the King Abdulaziz International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 12 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=oejn If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models from sources like Weather Atlas, Met Office, and others converge on an overnight low of 30–31°C for Jeddah on September 12, 2026, driving the market-implied odds favoring these bins (48.5% for 31°C, 28% for 30°C).** Jeddah’s Red Sea coastal setting produces persistently warm nights due to high humidity (often 70–85%) and limited radiative cooling, with September climatological lows averaging 28–29°C. Recent September 2026 observations show nightly minima of 28.6–30.6°C under stable high-pressure conditions and light winds, with no significant cooling advection or cloud cover expected to alter this pattern. Numerical weather prediction consensus (including ECMWF and GFS runs) indicates the minimum will occur in the pre-dawn hours around 29–31°C, consistent with the current warm anomaly of roughly +1–2°C above normal. Lower-probability outcomes like 24°C or below (22.5%) or 34°C+ (26.5%) reflect tail risks from model spread or unexpected changes in steering flow, but lack supporting signals in the latest guidance. Updated model runs and official observations through the night of September 11–12 will provide the final resolution data.
