Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Bulgaria on April 19, 2026. This market will resolve to the next individual who is officially sworn in as Prime Minister of Bulgaria following the next parliamentary election. To count for resolution, the individual must be formally sworn in. Any interim or caretaker Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such Prime Minister is appointed by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Bulgaria; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Former President Rumen Radev dominates trader consensus at 89% implied probability to become Bulgaria's next Prime Minister, driven by polls showing his new Progressive Bulgaria coalition leading ahead of the April 19 snap parliamentary election—the eighth in five years amid repeated failures to form stable governments. Radev resigned in January 2026 to run after the Zhelyazkov cabinet collapsed in December 2025, capitalizing on voter frustration with entrenched parties like GERB under Boyko Borissov (3%). Caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov, appointed in February by President Iliyana Iotova, trails at 5% as his interim role ends post-vote, with coalition negotiations under proportional representation poised to determine the outcome despite his pro-Western pledges. Late shifts from turnout or endorsements could still alter results.
