Trader consensus on Polymarket prices a tight race among $549k–$558k bins for the Parcl Labs Sales Price Index median home value in the Washington, D.C. metro area by April 30, implying modest stability near recent levels around mid-$550k amid balanced supply-demand dynamics. March Bright MLS data revealed a $635,000 median sold price, up 1.6% year-over-year, with pending sales climbing 5.3% but inventory rising 9.4% as sellers re-entered for spring (listings +56% month-over-month). Rising mortgage rates and economic uncertainty—tied to federal workforce trends and geopolitical tensions—curb aggressive bidding, while Zillow's Home Value Index at $583k signals softening values (-2.9% YoY). Key swing factors include late-April buyer activity and the April 29–30 FOMC meeting's rate signals, with daily Parcl updates decisive for resolution.
