Trader consensus on Polymarket assigns a 60% implied probability to the $2.25–2.50 range for April's average U.S. retail price of Grade A large eggs per dozen, anchored by the Bureau of Labor Statistics' March 2026 reading of $2.348—down 6.1% from February's $2.50—reflecting sustained recovery from 2025 avian influenza disruptions. Recent USDA Egg Markets Overview reports through April 10 show national wholesale loose large egg prices at a multi-year low of $0.21 per dozen amid moderate-to-heavy supplies and light demand, with the April WASDE lowering egg price forecasts on rebounding layer flocks and production. The $2.00–2.25 bin at 23.5% captures expectations of further softening, ahead of the May 12 BLS CPI release for April data.
