Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Los Angeles on September 11 points to morning low clouds and fog giving way to partly sunny skies, with daytime highs most likely in the low-to-mid 80s under moderate onshore flow. This setup, typical for early September, limits afternoon heating compared with the hotter, sunnier conditions earlier in the month. Trader consensus favoring the 82–85 °F range reflects the tight clustering of ensemble solutions around that window, tempered by uncertainty in marine-layer depth and the exact timing of cloud clearance. Historical averages near 76 °F and the recent cooling trend after peak heat further anchor expectations below 90 °F. Updated model runs and afternoon observations tomorrow will refine the final reading before market resolution.
