**Recent forecasts for Ankara on September 23, 2026, show a high near 21°C amid a passing weather system with showers or thunderstorms, which explains the tight clustering of market probabilities around 18–21°C.** Multiple meteorological sources, including Turkish meteorological summaries and international models, indicate daytime maxima of 20–22°C with southwesterly winds, increasing cloud cover, and precipitation chances that limit solar heating and evaporative cooling. This represents a notable drop from early-September seasonal norms near 26–27°C, driven by the transition to autumnal conditions and an incoming trough. The spread in implied odds reflects uncertainty in exact rainfall timing and intensity—lighter or later showers could allow brief warming toward 22°C, while steadier cloudiness or earlier rain favors 19°C or below. New model runs and updated guidance from regional agencies will likely refine these details ahead of market resolution.
