Forecast models from the National Weather Service and supporting agencies indicate a high in the low-to-mid 90s°F for Denver on August 28, driven by clear to partly cloudy skies, light winds, and dry late-summer conditions at the city's 5,280-foot elevation that enable efficient daytime solar heating. Recent updates show consensus around 93°F with a narrow range of 90–96°F possible depending on afternoon convection, positioning 92–95°F bins as the dominant trader consensus. Historical August averages near 85°F and records of 96°F underscore the elevated but not extreme outlook, with low precipitation chances supporting minimal temperature suppression.
