Persistent high humidity, easterly flow, and widespread cloud cover from diurnal thunderstorms have limited nighttime radiational cooling across South Florida, supporting minimum temperatures near or slightly below seasonal norms. NOAA and National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on August 29 project overnight lows in the lower 80s, consistent with typical late-summer conditions where dew points remain in the upper 70s and heat indices exceed 100°F during the day. Traders appear to favor the 76-77°F bin as the most probable official low, reflecting historical August averages around 77-78°F at Miami International Airport alongside the expectation that any breaks in cloud cover could allow modest additional cooling before sunrise. No significant frontal systems or drier air intrusions are indicated in current model guidance, keeping probabilities concentrated in this narrow range while lower outcomes remain unlikely without unexpected clear-sky development.
