Recent short-range forecasts from sources including the Finnish Meteorological Institute, ECMWF, and GFS models indicate a highest temperature near 17°C in Helsinki on September 4, 2026, under mostly cloudy skies with light southerly winds and a modest chance of showers. This aligns with climatological norms for early September, when average daily highs reach approximately 17.5°C amid the seasonal transition from summer warmth to cooler autumn conditions. Current surface observations show mild temperatures around 17–20°C on September 2–3, with no strong high-pressure ridge or warm advection expected to push values higher. Trader consensus, reflected in the leading 18°C (44%) and 17°C (27.5%) outcomes, incorporates these model runs and historical analogs while acknowledging typical forecast uncertainty of ±1–2°C for the 48-hour window.
