This positioning follows a cooler air mass and northerly winds after mid-month record highs exceeding 90°F, with partly cloudy skies capping daytime heating per hourly data. Realistic challenges include rare NOAA quality-control revisions for sensor anomalies, though Central Park's long-term reliability minimizes such risks; final monthly climate summary expected soon.
