Official forecasts from the UK Met Office and supporting models project a daytime maximum of 20–21°C in London on September 18 under partly cloudy skies with moderate southwesterly winds. This consensus, consistent across recent runs with minimal spread in high-resolution guidance, underpins the market’s strong preference for 20°C as the leading outcome. Afternoon cloud build-up and exact timing of peak insolation introduce modest uncertainty around whether readings edge to 21°C or settle near 19°C, aligning with the secondary probabilities. Historical mid-September averages near 19°C provide additional context, but the current stable pattern shows little deviation expected before resolution.

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
